Our Rates:
Rates vary depending on the type of work required, the condition and complexity of the material supplied, your editing and re-writing specifications, fact checking, images that need to be sourced, permissions, specialized knowledge, creativity required, and length of the material or project. All rates are per hour unless specified, include expenses unless specified, exclude taxes and are in Canadian dollars. Discounts are available for large projects and volume work.
Communications and Marketing
Press Releases: $25-$30
Presentations:
Word: $30-$35
PowerPoint: $40-$45
Speeches: $45-$50
Promotion and Advertising Development (concept, slogans): $50-$60
Branding (concept, logos): $60-$75
Project and Event Management: $60-$75 (flat rates are negotiable)
Graphic Design and Layout: $65-$70
Web Site Development (design, content, e-commerce solutions): $70-$75 (includes domain registration)
Web Site Hosting and Email Management: $20-$25 (does not include provider hosting fees)
Communication and Marketing Plans: $75-$100
Writing/Rewriting
Print and Online articles (1000 – 3000 words): 25-30 cents/word
Books/Annual Reports: 150 to 250 pages double spaced (50,000–70,000 words): $50/page (flat rates are negotiable)
Brochures/booklets: $50-$55
Ad Copy: $50-$55
Copy Editing:
Basic Copy Editing for Grammar and Punctuation: $20-$35
Copy Editing Seminars:
Basics of Copy Editing: $99/person/session (each session is 4 hours)
Copy Editing for Editors:
$125/person/session (each session is 4 hours)

Proofing: $20-$25
Printing and Distribution Coordination: $20 (plus cost of printing and distribution)
